Hi everyone, I’ve been driving a VW T6.1 California Ocean since last summer. It has been amazing on weekend trips or longer adventures. But , the comfort of the standard roof bed mattress has been bothering me. After just a few nights, I feel the slats underneath and wake up with a sore back. I’m thinking about replacing it and was wondering if anyone here has found a good solution. I’m after something that’s breathable, provides good support, and is simple to store. I’ve come across options from Froli Vanue, and Megasat, but I’d like to get some feedback from people who’ve used them before I decide. If anyone here has experience mixing van life with remote learning, I’d love to hear about it. I just began an online Generative AI Course, and having a cozy workspace in the van feels more important than ever to keep up with studying while traveling.
