Is The Grand California Well Insulated ?

This may have been covered before if so I'm sorry. 

 

I would like your conformation if you feel that the GC is well insulated as you would possibly have more experience of use in cold weather.

It is the insulation properties that I am interested in upon your views and if you have made any further improvements and how.

I would say it‘s ok, but not more.

 

Diesel-Heating is working well with low temperatures outside.

 

If you‘re looking for winter-camping may better choose another car.

Hey Will,

 

I think it’s the cab, that’s not insulated well.

We had around -5°C last night and with the 6kw gas heating (as well as the Diesel-heating) everything is fine.

The 2kw electric-heating isn’t good enough. I tried it and didn’t make it over 10°C.
