retrofit middle seat rail

Hi everybody

Sorry for writing in English.

 

Just about to order a vw California 150hk DSg here in Denmark, but because of the danish taxes (150% on cars) some of the optionals gets very expensive if its factory fittet.

and if you want the extra seat for the 150hk version, you also need to upgrade to 17" brakes and wheel. Then the extra seat costs around 2500 EUR

 

 

Does anyone knows if its possible to add the extra seat rail afterwards? And maybe knows a shop in the northern Germany who can do it?

Any help would be appreciated.

 

and am I the only one that has wondered how nice it would be if the rails could continue all the way to the front in the passenger side? (like in image two)

   - so the "co driver" could just push his/her chair back and turn it around to be able to front the passenger seat...

my English is rather poor.

Please order the 17 Zoll brake. It is not possible to do the seat rail later.

Hi Lasse,

in the German configurator there is an option for the extra rail only - in order to fit an additional seat later on. 

Check with your dealer if this option is available in DK.

IMHO this option has no dependency on the 17-inch wheels&brakes, but not 100% sure. You cannot have an extra seat with 4motion due to weight restriction.
