Battery Draining Overnight

Many T6.1 owners have reported unexpected battery drain overnight; even when the vehicle is parked with no visible power consumption. While some cases are due to standard systems like the alarm / infotainment standby mode, others suggest phantom power draw from hidden sources like aftermarket installations, faulty relays; or even VW’s factory-installed modules not entering sleep mode correctly.🙃

 

A common culprit could be the DC-DC charger, auxiliary battery setup, or a malfunctioning relay that keeps drawing power even when the vehicle is off.
